How did we become the biggest network in reverse logistics?
It all started in May 2011 when four business professionals from different areas of logistics decided to embark on this project. The idea came up when we noticed that the Spanish Navy needed to get rid of outdated and unused equipment. That way we started this business and the success was so big that we soon became a model and started growing.
In 2012 we released our auction portal, Escrapalia.com. The website became the main sales channel for assets unused by our clients and pretended by our buyers throughout an innovative, competitive, and transparent bidding system. We started with four users and nowadays we have more than 10 000 registered users. Also, thanks to our partnership with multiple international companies we reach out to more than one million potential customers.
We have grown as well. We started with four people and today there are 30 people from different professional backgrounds helping us become what we are: the top organization in reverse logistics based in Spain. Enero: Desimplantación, desmontaje y venta de activos de la factoría de ALTADIS en Logroño.
Febrero: Comercialización del parque móvil de CORREOS.
Abril: Empezamos operaciones en Brasil.
Junio: Traslado, venta de activos y achatrramiento del Portaaviones Príncipe de Asturias de la Armada Española.
Julio: Adjudicación, venta de activos y desimplantación del Paddock de la F1 en Valencia. Alcanzamos los 200 procesos concursales gestionados.
Diciembre: Primera colaboración con una gran empresa del sector de la automoción, SEAT.
Enero: Desmantelamiento y valorización del edificio Luna Rossa de la Copa América.
Marzo: Alcanzamos la 10ª Empresa del IBEX 35 para la que recuperamos valor.
Julio: 300 inmuebles vendidos.
Septiembre: Subasta Pública de los objetos perdidos del Ayuntamiento de Madrid.
Octubre: Desmantelamiento, desimplantación y venta como útil del Parque Eólico Malpica.
Noviembre: Adjudicación de la venta para el Ayuntamiento de Sevilla.
Diciembre: Desimplantación, desmontaje y venta de activos de la factoría de ALTADIS en Logroño.
